The Problem

Existing bill-splitting apps often require constant internet connectivity, are bloated with ads, or have confusing interfaces that make settling complex group debts a headache.

The Solution

I developed Splitwit with an offline-first architecture. You can add expenses while hiking in remote areas or travelling abroad without a data plan. Once reconnected, the app seamlessly syncs with the server. The algorithm automatically calculates the most efficient way to settle all debts (minimizing the total number of transactions).
